WELCOME TO THE HOME OF
QUALITY TIMBER CABINS
SUPPLIED BY CABIN CONNECT, NEW ZEALAND
Sustainably sourced timber from Europe - FSC certified
At Cabin Connect, we pride ourselves on bringing the best quality premium kitset cabins we could find, from Europe to your front door in New Zealand. Our cabins are sleekly designed and easily built by Kiwis. If you have home handyman knowledge or better, you will find the process achievable.
Our flat packs include everything you need to build a complete standalone cabin from the floor up - double glazed windows, double glazed doors, New Zealand currogated iron roofing, flashings and screws.
(We do not use imported products that we believe don't suit New Zealand conditions.)
With outstanding quality milled 44mm-thick sustainably sourced Nordic spruce walls and double-glazed glass, our cabins will be a sophisticated addition to your property.
With several designs to choose from and sizes from 9 to 28 sqm, we can provide you with the perfect sleepout for a teenager, a home office, studio, or simply a place to chill out and escape from the busyness of life.
We've done all the research ourselves including visiting the manufacturing facilities in Europe, so you can be confident you are looking at the best European-designed cabins available in New Zealand. Call us today to discuss what you need.
DIY, OR DI-DON'T
If you'd prefer, we can arrange for your kitset cabin to be built anywhere in New Zealand (build costs additional).
OR if you are practically minded and have a rudimentary knowledge of building, you can build your own. Manufacturer and NZ building instructions are supplied. Please note, there is not a hard and fast way to assemble some portions of the cabin. With an open mind and flexible ability, it is achievable. The New Zealand plans, are a culmination of fellow cabin owners/ builders and may not be perfect. In building our cabins you need an open mind which will allow you to customize each cabin for your preferred needs. For DIY kitsets we do not make "house calls". We are happy to chat before, during or after construction, but we will not visit, or take responsibility for construction or product once shipped.
BUYING YOUR CABIN
Buying your new cabin could not be easier. There are no hidden costs once you have chosen your package. Tell us the cabin you want and where you live, and we will provide a quote including delivery within one working day.
Provided we have the design you choose in stock, we will ship your kitset cabin as soon as the sale is complete. We will also send you the building instructions beforehand so you can get familiar with the process before your cabin arrives.
BUILDING YOUR CABIN
Anyone with an understanding of building can build our cabins, with our simple do-it-yourself instructions included. Without much DIY experience allow a few days to get your cabin built. If you're a pro and have a few mates around, you'll probably knock it up in a couple of days.

Key points to remember: get your piles and bearers 100% square and level, knock every piece into place tightly, tighten and re-tighten your wall boards as you go. When you're finished, comprehensively seal the exterior as the timber is not treated. The wood may sweat water and sap for a month or so while it dries out. With this, the doors and windows may need adjusting from time to time.

Or if you'd rather, we can build your cabin for an additional charge. Call us to discuss this option and for a quote.

OUR CABINS HAVE OWNERS FROM KAITAIA TO DUNEDIN
The people behind Cabin Connect (previously called European Premium Cabins) have been active in the building, accommodation and property business for a long time. With a great mix of youth and experience, we have a high repeat business. That sort of operation doesn't happen by chance.
Shareholding directors Mike Rowe and Craig Dunlop, front the kitset cabin business. They bring passion and knowledge gained from experience in business, building and management to the table, including a long history of importing goods from Europe. They have proved through previous ventures that they know what works, what suits Kiwi values, and the level of service that Kiwis expect.
They walk the walk, too - they own these kitset cabins themselves and can verify first-hand that the quality is of the highest standard.

Cabin Connect has no debt to any other entity. This means once a cabin is purchased by a customer it is completely owned by them, without risk of not receiving it.
For further peace of mind, Cabin Connect will use a third party payment protection service at the customers request. This way Cabin Connect does not receive any of the payment until you are 100% satisfied you have received your cabin. Only then, on your confirmation is your payment released to Cabin Connect.
